Livestreaming – visiting teams

The livestreaming of cricket matches has become increasingly popular in the Sussex Cricket League and is actively supported and encouraged by the Sussex Cricket League and the ECB.

Wisborough Green Cricket Club have acquired the technology to livestream matches and are planning to livestream all home games in the 2026 season

The club have developed a livestreaming policy which is based on the ECB guideline and in accordance with the policy, the club is required to obtain permission from visiting teams to livestream matches.

The livestreaming equipment will be positioned on the boundary at the top end of the ground or on the balcony of pavilion if there is a chance of rain. The software that will be used is NV Play and the livestream will be broadcast and saved on the Club’s Youtube channel for future viewing. A link for the broadcast will be made available on the day of the match and a match highlights package may be produced after the game which will also be stored on the club’s Youtube channel.

Could you kindly indicate that you and your team are happy for the match to be live-streamed and if there are any concerns to let us know by return Whatsapp message to the captain of the Wisborough Green team.
