  • Charlie is bowled on 43 after attempting to clear the green with a huge shot after an impressive and destructive innings
  • Tommy continues to bat exquisitely by attacking the bad balls and defending the good ones
  • Skipper Tarni Dixon supports Tommy from the other end with a mixture of gross incompetence and run scoring stroke play
  • Tommy sails past his half century in majestic style whilst Tarni chokes and holes out to the bowler on 48 (jug avoidance?)
  • The end of the innings sees Tommy smashing the ball to all corners of the pitch whilst Richard was also stroking the ball into the gaps
  • Tommy carried his broken bat with a fantastic innings of 96 not out with some high quality batting ably assisted at the other end by Richard (19 not out)
  • Wisborough Green end up with credible 235 for 3 after 40 overs.

Considering the age and experience of the team this was a gargantuan performance by each and every individual on the team and it was a real pleasure to see so many of the young players performing at such a high standard despite the challenging circumstances.  You can all be very proud of what you achieved.
