Club Captain’s awards
Our Club Captain Dan Vickery has made his annual awards to recognise the achievements and input of a number of people at the club :
Message from Chairman Tarnie Dixon
I have been amazed and delighted this season to see so much cricket being played on the green in such good spirit both through the colts and the senior teams irrespective of the significant challenges that have come our way. This is down to the remarkable resilience, determination and adaptability of WGCC through the Committee to the coaches, umpires, scorers and all the players. Many thanks to you all for giving the Club a season full of good humour and enjoyable memories.
The Committee is now embarking on ambitious plans for the 2021 season which will see more cricket played on the green than we have seen for a number of years.
Wishing you and your families a very safe and peaceful Winter and we look forward to welcoming you again in 2021.
