RunWisborough 2019

The fourth RunWisborough broke all the records for numbers and funds raised.  Entrants were 150 higher than last year at 650 with a further 270 children taking part in the colour run.  Once again we had perfect weather and our 60 strong group of volunteers helped ensure everyone had a fantastic day.  Thank you to all those who helped out, took part or just turned out to cheer.  There are oodles of great comments and feedback from runners about the encouragement they received and the great atmosphere the event created.

In all the event turned over just over £16k of which about half is profit and goes straight into our Pavilion fund.  If you would like a photo memento have a look at our website www.runwisborough.co.uk they’re on £3.50!

Finally, Wisborough Green Sports would like to thank the hard working organising committee of Richard Mellor, Mark Meurer, Tessa Finger, Wolfie Finger, Anton Jerges, Simon Green, Phil Maggs, Carol Pearson and Michael Gadd.
