Dear Parent

Thank you for registering your child to join/renew their membership with Wisborough Green Cricket Club. We are super excited to welcome many boys and girls across the age groups for Colts Training from 6pm on Fridays as we anticipate a full season of cricket ahead of us.

Further below in this email you will find a reminder of the times of each age group’s session plus the location where each age group should congregate on the village green. There will be age group signs and QR Codes on the trees at each congregation point to help you find your child’s training area.

Covid Guidelines

It is very important that we are Covid safe so please remember to adhere to the following throughout the evening:

Please do not attend if your child or anyone in your family are suffering any Covid related symptoms or if you are needing to self isolate.
Please scan in using the NHS App –  QR codes can be found around the Pavilion and pinned to a tree by each age group’s congregation point.
Under ECB Covid rules, spectating is not permitted so please deliver your child to their coaching team then leave the immediate area and return at the end of the session to pick up your child.
The ‘rule of 6’ must be observed at all times.
Children should bring their own drinks and use their own hand sanitiser where possible. The club will provide additional supplies for hands and for sanitising equipment.
Only enter the Pavilion building to use the toilet facilities and please wear a mask.

Training Times:

Under 5/6/7s Boys and Girls – 6pm to 7pm with Alen Lang & Jon Finn – north east corner which is by the roundabout opposite the Cricketer arms

Under 8s Boys and Girls – 6pm to 7pm with Tarni Dixon & Darren Hunter – west side middle which is along the private road running from opposite the village shop down to the Pavilion

Under 9/10s Boys and Girls – 6pm to 7:30 pm with Philip Maggs & Tom Dawson – east side middle which is mid way between the roundabout opposite the Cricketers Arms Pub and the T-junction with the A272 by the 3 Crowns Pub

Under 13s Girls – 6pm to 7pm with Alan Smith & Stef Oland – south east corner which is by the T-junction with the A272 by the 3 Crowns Pub

Under 11/12s –  7pm to 8.30pm with Jon Finn, Kami Naghdi & Wolfie Finger  – Pavilion side of the fixed nets alongside Kirdford Road

Under 13/14s   – 7pm to 8.30pm with Tarni Dixon & Tom Dawson – Cricketers Arms side of the fixed nets alongside Kirdford Road

Under 15s Girls – 7pm to 8pm with Alan Smith & Stef Oland – south east corner which is by the T-junction with the A272 by the 3 Crowns Pub

Pavilion Facilities

The Pavilion bar will be open with an outside table service for tables of up to six people maximum. Please help us by following these additional guidelines:

No standing in the seating area
Do not pull tables together to form bigger tables
Wear a mask if you go inside to use the toilet facilities
Scan in using the NHS App
