We are eagerly looking forward to the start of the 2023 season and in particular starting Junior training on the green from Friday 21st April.
Wisbrough Green Cricket Club (WGCC) is an inclusive Club welcoming all Juniors from Reception age (U5) to U16 to have fun whilst learning the skills and knowledge about how to play cricket. We have 8 ECB qualified coaches which support the different age group training on a Friday evening and for league matches. We will have 4 age groups competing in a local league on a Saturday or Sunday morning from May to July. We have a girls section which has developed enormously over the last two years and will be entering 2 age groups into the local girls league.
Last year we retained our ECB Clubmark accreditation which shows that the Club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means our Club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.
